Ayu-Shri opened in October 2009 in the South Coast Massachusetts town of North Dartmouth. It is the only Indian Restaurant in the area. We are conveniently located near the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth and situated across Route 6 from the Dartmouth Mall.

Ayur-Shri is a unique Indian Restaurant serving authentic Indian dishes, blended with pure herbs and spices from the foot hills of the Himalayas. All our dishes are treated with most care that makes our food delicious to the taste. Our main priority is customer satisfaction. We offer a variety of unique dishes, with a high quality selection of cuisines, including North Indian, South Indian, Nepalese and Indo Chinese.

As the name Ayur-Shri indicates: Ayur means life and Shri represents the potency, nutrients and energy associated with food. Well prepared Indian Food stimulates and satisfies the senses. Good food is the best medicine for health, potency and longevity.

Ayur-Shri is a place where the goddess of food Anapurna resides. Therefore, our purpose is to bring healthy Ayurvedic foods to you. Ayurveda is the ancient Hindu science of health and medicine. May we suggest that, if you are unfamiliar with Indian Food, that you take the opportunity to explore our Indian Lunch Buffet? The buffet is served everyday from 11:30am. to 3pm.

Ayur-Shri also serves beer and wine. We offer seven of the best Indian lager-style beers available in 12 and 24-ounce sizes.

We also offer take-out and event catering. Ayur-Shri also offers private and semi-private dining options for small groups.
